What KPV is

KPV is a three-amino-acid peptide (lysine-proline-valine) that matches the final three residues of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (α-MSH). It has shown anti-inflammatory effects in cell studies and in mouse models of colitis. No human trial of KPV has been published, and it is not an approved medicine. Read the full KPV guide, with the published research and references.

Before you choose a KPV supplier

Price per mg is only half the comparison. Check that the supplier publishes a certificate of analysis for the batch it is selling, ideally from an independent laboratory, and that the certificate confirms identity as well as purity: our guide on how to read a COA shows what to look for. A price far below the rest of the list is more often a warning than a bargain; peptide prices explained sets out why.

For what KPV is and what published studies have found, see our KPV guide. Handling questions are covered in how to store peptides, and the peptide calculator converts a vial size and water volume into concentration and syringe units. Rules on buying and importing differ by country: read are peptides legal in New Zealand? and see all suppliers serving New Zealand.

Checking a KPV certificate of analysis

  1. The certificate names a laboratory you can find independently, and ideally one with no stake in the result.
  2. It carries a batch or lot number that matches the product page or the vial label, and a test date.
  3. It confirms identity by mass spectrometry, not only purity by HPLC. Purity alone does not show the vial contains KPV.
  4. It includes the chromatogram and mass spectrum, not just a summary table.
  5. Where the laboratory offers online verification of its reports, the report number checks out.

Red flags

  • No certificates at all, or certificates available only “on request”.
  • The same certificate used for several products or several years of stock.
  • Payment only by cryptocurrency or bank transfer, with a discount for paying that way.
  • A price far below every other supplier on this page.
  • No way to contact the store other than a web form.
  • Vials labelled only with a code rather than the product name and strength.

How to spot a fake peptide supplier explains each of these in more detail, and third-party peptide testing covers what independent results can and cannot prove.

Vials, capsules and pre-mixed products

Most research peptides are sold as freeze-dried (lyophilised) powder in sealed vials, which is mixed with a diluent such as bacteriostatic water before use in the lab. Some suppliers also sell pre-mixed solutions, nasal sprays or capsules under the same name. These are different products with different stability and dosing, so compare price per mg only between the same form, and check which form a listing is before comparing it with the rest of the table.

KPV in New Zealand: questions

Where can I buy KPV in New Zealand?

2 of the suppliers PepFinder tracks list KPV and are based in New Zealand. The highest rated are Southern Labs. The list on this page is ranked by PepFinder Score, which weighs reliability, delivery, pricing, support and customer reviews; stores shipping in from abroad are not included in New Zealand's prices; nobody pays to be included or to rank higher.

Who sells KPV cheapest in New Zealand?

Southern Labs lists the lowest validated single-vial price per mg in New Zealand, NZ$6.00/mg for a 10 mg vial, as last checked on 7 Nov 2026. The cheapest listing is not automatically the best buy: weigh it against the store's PepFinder Score, its test certificates and its customer reviews, all shown on this page.

Is it legal to buy KPV in New Zealand?

New Zealand classifies BPC-157, TB-500, CJC-1295, ipamorelin, retatrutide and many other peptides as prescription medicines, and possessing one without a reasonable excuse is an offence. Our page on whether peptides are legal in New Zealand sets out the rules with a link to every source. This is general information, not legal advice.

Can KPV be shipped to New Zealand?

Importing a prescription medicine by post or courier needs a reasonable excuse, which Medsafe describes as a prescription from a New Zealand prescriber, and up to three months' supply. Each supplier on this page shows where it is based, so you can see whether an order would cross a border.

How do I check a KPV supplier's test results?

Ask for a certificate of analysis for the batch being sold, and check that it names the laboratory, the batch number and the test date, and that it confirms identity by mass spectrometry as well as purity by HPLC. PepFinder has not yet collected certificates for KPV from these suppliers, so check each supplier's own site.

How this list is built: suppliers appear because they list KPV on their own website, read by our catalogue checks; nobody pays to be included or to move up. Ranking is by PepFinder Score, with stores that have nothing on sale after those that do. Prices, sizes and stock are as each site listed them when checked and may have changed.
