Testagen is a synthetic tetrapeptide, lysine-glutamic acid-aspartic acid-glycine (Lys-Glu-Asp-Gly, or KEDG), from the Khavinson series of short bioregulator peptides. Sellers market it as a testis peptide for testosterone, but the published studies designed it from a pituitary extract and tested it on the thyroid and thymus of birds without a pituitary gland; there is no published human study and no study of testosterone. Most research peptides are sold as freeze-dried (lyophilised) powder in sealed vials, which is mixed with a diluent such as bacteriostatic water before use in the lab. Some suppliers also sell pre-mixed solutions, nasal sprays or capsules under the same name. These are different products with different stability and dosing, so compare price per mg only between the same form, and check which form a listing is before comparing it with the rest of the table.

Ask for a certificate of analysis for the batch being sold, and check that it names the laboratory, the batch number and the test date, and that it confirms identity by mass spectrometry as well as purity by HPLC.
