Thymalin is a polypeptide extract of calf thymus developed in Leningrad in the 1970s by Vladimir Khavinson and Vyacheslav Morozov, and it has been a registered medicine in Russia for decades as an immunomodulator. It is not a single peptide: it is a mixture from which the dipeptides Glu-Trp (thymogen) and Lys-Glu (vilon) were later identified. Its clinical evidence consists of Russian studies, including a long-running 266-person geroprotection study and non-randomised COVID-19 cohorts, and it is not licensed in the UK, US or EU. Most research peptides are sold as freeze-dried (lyophilised) powder in sealed vials, which is mixed with a diluent such as bacteriostatic water before use in the lab. Some suppliers also sell pre-mixed solutions, nasal sprays or capsules under the same name. These are different products with different stability and dosing, so compare price per mg only between the same form, and check which form a listing is before comparing it with the rest of the table.

Ask for a certificate of analysis for the batch being sold, and check that it names the laboratory, the batch number and the test date, and that it confirms identity by mass spectrometry as well as purity by HPLC.
