LL-37 is a 37-amino-acid antimicrobial peptide made naturally by the human body, and the only member of the cathelicidin family found in humans. A synthetic version has been tested on the skin in two randomised trials in venous leg ulcers, with a positive small first trial and a negative larger one. It is also implicated in inflammatory skin diseases such as psoriasis and rosacea, and it is not an approved medicine. Read the full LL-37 guide, with the published research and references.

Most research peptides are sold as freeze-dried (lyophilised) powder in sealed vials, which is mixed with a diluent such as bacteriostatic water before use in the lab. Some suppliers also sell pre-mixed solutions, nasal sprays or capsules under the same name. These are different products with different stability and dosing, so compare price per mg only between the same form, and check which form a listing is before comparing it with the rest of the table.

Importing a prescription-only medicine, including by post, needs a valid Australian prescription at the time of import; imports without one are seized, and unlabelled or code-only vials are destroyed. Each supplier on this page shows where it is based, so you can see whether an order would cross a border.
Ask for a certificate of analysis for the batch being sold, and check that it names the laboratory, the batch number and the test date, and that it confirms identity by mass spectrometry as well as purity by HPLC.
