What Selank is

Selank is a synthetic seven-amino-acid peptide developed in Russia from tuftsin, a short fragment of an immune protein, with a Pro-Gly-Pro sequence added. It is registered in Russia as a 0.15% nasal drop for anxiety states, but the clinical evidence consists of small Russian-language studies, and it is not approved as a medicine in the UK, US, Canada, Australia or New Zealand.   2. It carries a batch or lot number that matches the product page or the vial label, and a test date.
  3. It confirms identity by mass spectrometry, not only purity by HPLC. Purity alone does not show the vial contains Selank.
  4. It includes the chromatogram and mass spectrum, not just a summary table.
  5. Where the laboratory offers online verification of its reports, the report number checks out.

Red flags
