HMG (human menopausal gonadotropin, or menotropins) is a preparation of the pituitary hormones FSH and LH extracted from the urine of postmenopausal women. It has been a prescription fertility medicine since the 1960s, used to grow eggs for IVF, to induce ovulation, and with HCG to start sperm production in men whose pituitary does not make gonadotropins. Vials sold online as a “research” product are not the licensed medicine Menopur, and the LH activity in HMG puts it within WADA’s prohibited list for male athletes. Price per mg is only half the comparison. Check that the supplier publishes a certificate of analysis for the batch it is selling, ideally from an independent laboratory, and that the certificate confirms identity as well as purity: our guide on how to read a COA shows what to look for. Most research peptides are sold as freeze-dried (lyophilised) powder in sealed vials, which is mixed with a diluent such as bacteriostatic water before use in the lab. Some suppliers also sell pre-mixed solutions, nasal sprays or capsules under the same name. These are different products with different stability and dosing, so compare price per mg only between the same form, and check which form a listing is before comparing it with the rest of the table.

The FDA says it is illegal in most circumstances for individuals to import drugs for personal use, and shipments it considers unapproved drugs can be refused entry. Each supplier on this page shows where it is based, so you can see whether an order would cross a border.
Ask for a certificate of analysis for the batch being sold, and check that it names the laboratory, the batch number and the test date, and that it confirms identity by mass spectrometry as well as purity by HPLC.
